Game can actually be played.

I had a look at the zip of the game I uploaded and it works fine, so it looks like the file got corrupted when it was uploaded to itch's servers. Makes sense as the file was uploaded while the servers were struggling at the time. It's on me though, I should've checked. x

(update 5th August)

No working - Sadly I somehow screwed up re-zipping my project before uploading and didn't notice until someone just recently pointed it out. I had tested it was working on my initial upload, but made a last minute change before the deadline which is where it must've occurred.  

It doesn't look like anyone is going to be able to play this until after the voting is over. Not that I expected to get many votes but still absolutely heartbroken. Will update ASAP. x

VoidCoil is a puzzle based game where you need to collect a certain number of coils and loop back on yourself in order to progress. The difficulty is in the route you take. Every move will leave a damaging trail that means backtracking is risky. You'll need to think carefully in order to map out an effective route.

I honestly didn't have much time to play test so apologies for anything gamebreaking. I imagine it's not very well balanced in places, and couldn't add all the levels/features I originally wanted but that's always the case with game jam games haha.

Game uses the mouse, however there is controller support - I also didn't get to test this much so again apologies for any issues.
